C3 Studios offers a rare opportunity to East Coast artists—to participate in a popular workshop and session to be taught by Bullseye staff instructor and studio artist Nathan Sandberg.

Textures in Kiln-Glass
Led by Nathan Sandberg
Sept. 19-20 (9-5pm) & 22 (6-9pm)

This intensive workshop will introduce beginning-to-intermediate-level artists to a variety of ways that textures can be created in kiln-glass projects. Students will do a series of texturcises (texture + exercises), using sand beds, ceramic-fiber molds, plaster-silica molds, frit, billets and sheet glass—to begin building a catalog of techniques for use in their own studios. The focus of this class will be on creating samples (not finished work), but students will find that the methods taught can easily be adapted to fit many types kilnforming projects—from architectural installations to works destined for a gallery. Class price: $450. All supplies included.
