LARRY BRICKMAN is a full-time, Washington-based glass artist, jeweler, and instructor whose work is represented throughout the United States and Canada. He has taught torchworked-beadmaking workshops to hundreds of students at art schools across the United States. JANE BRUCE Jane Bruce, a NYC artist and educator, earned an MA from London's Royal College of Art and studied at the NY State College of Ceramics. She has taught extensively in the US, Canada, Europe, and in the Glass Workshop at Australian National University (1994-2004) and was Artistic Director at North Lands Creative Glass in Scotland (2002-2007). Her work is collected worldwide, including at the Victoria and Albert Museum, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Corning Museum of Glass, and Powerhouse Museum (Sydney). CHARLES BUTCHER Charles (Chick) Butcher creates cast glass pieces that are unique one-offs by applying exacting standards to glass casting with complex patterns. His work was recently selected into the prestigious Tom Malone Prize at the Art Gallery of Western Australia, won the Emerging Artist Award at the Ausglass National Conference, and was published in New Glass Review 28. Butcher is a graduate of the Sydney College of the Arts and the Glass Workshop at the Australian National University. |

BONNIE CELESTE Bonnie Celeste is a Bullseye instructor/technician who received her BS in education from Buffalo State College in New York. She was selected by jury for Pilchuck's 2006 and 2007 glass auctions and has had work accepted to special International Society of Glass Beadmakers exhibitions in 2007 and 2008. She is interested in good, thoughtful design and helping individuals build a solid foundation for their journeys in glass. COBI COCKBURN Cobi Cockburn is one of Australia's most acknowledged young glass designers, having won the Talente Prize (Munich) and New Design/Object Award (Sydney) in 2007; the Ranamok Glass Prize and a Bullseye e-merge Prize in 2006; and the Vicki Torr Prize at the Ausglass/GAS Conference in 2005. Cockburn is a graduate of Sydney College of the Arts and the Glass Workshop at Australian National University. She combines hotshop, coldshop, and kilnforming techniques and exhibits work in Australia and other parts of the world. |

CHRISTY CORBETT Christy Corbett received her BA from the University of Oregon and also attended the Oregon College of Art and Craft. Formerly a Bullseye Research & Education team member, she is now an independent studio artist and a frequent instructor in our program. TOM JACOBS Tom Jacobs received his BA from Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts. As a Bullseye staff instructor/technician he has taught at Creative Glass, Switzerland; Glass Forum, Norway; Vitrum Studios, Maryland; and has assisted Richard Marquis at North Lands Creative Glass in Scotland. He develops and teaches classes for college instructors and the general public, gives lectures and demonstrations on glass technique, and works with visiting artists. In 2008, Tom will lead the Bullseye Forum for university-level educators at North Lands Creative Glass in Scotland. SILVIA LEVENSON Silvia Levenson's kilncast glass objects are humorous reflections on the difficult emotions that sometimes lie beneath cozy domestic environments. A native of Argentina now residing in Italy, Levenson has taught in Europe, Latin America, and the United States. Her award-winning work has gained an international audience and is included in many prominent glass collections, including the Glas Museum Fraueneau (Germany) and the Corning Museum of Glass (United States). |

JESSICA LOUGHLIN Jessica Loughlin, who graduated from the Canberra School of Art in 1997, is an independent studio artist in Adelaide, Australia. Her work is exhibited regularly in the United States, Europe, and Australia and is represented in major collections around the globe. Loughlin is widely recognized for her unique and considered approach to kilnformed glass, for which she has won a number of prestigious awards—including the Tom Malone Art Prize and Australia's RFC Glass Prize. |

NATHAN SANDBERG Nathan Sandberg earned his BFA in glass and ceramics from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. His work has received critical recognition through awards and shows, including Art or Artifact in Memphis, and is held in private collections. Now a member of the Bullseye Research & Education team, he teaches, assists classes, tests new glass styles, and helps with fabrication of visiting artist projects. He enjoys helping students grow creatively and taking glass art to new levels, using unconventional processes. TED SAWYER Ted Sawyer received his BA in art with a focus in ceramics from Lewis and Clark College. From 1992-1993 he was the artist in residence at Contemporary Crafts Museum and Gallery in Portland, Oregon. In 1997 he joined Bullseye, where he is the Director of Research & Education. He teaches and lectures internationally and exhibits his work at galleries around the world, including Bullseye Gallery. RICHARD WHITELEY Richard Whiteley is Head of the Glass Workshop at the Canberra School of Art, Australian National University. A British-born Australian, Whiteley has taught at Sydney College of the Arts (Australia), North Lands Creative Glass (Scotland), and the Studio of the Corning Museum of Glass (United States). His practice is dedicated to making kilncast and coldworked glass, and he maintains an active exhibition program. His work can be found in public and private collections around the world. |

ERIK WHITTEMORE Erik Whittemore earned his BS in art with a focus in sculpture from Eastern Oregon University. He teaches kilncasting and coldworking classes at Bullseye that were developed, in part, from his experience assisting visiting artists. An instructor/technician at Bullseye since 2004, he has assisted Richard Whiteley at Pilchuck, presented at BECon 2007, and attended Clifford Rainey's Master Class at North Lands Creative Glass.
