WG@BE2 officially opened.
Over a hundred Warm Glass Weekenders, friends, family and dozens of other warm-spirited enthusiasts joined us here at the Bullseye Connection Resource Center to celebrate the end of the first WGW Conference and to announce the winners of WG@BE2.
Bullseye Connection Director Lani McGregor joined WarmGlass website host and WGW conference organizer Brad Walker in awarding over $3000 in prizes to winners in the Functional, Non-functional and Jewelry categories of this year's competition:
Functional:
1st prize: Ron Coleman for "Red Treasure"
2nd prize: Doug Randall for "Vetro Mosaico con Battuto"
3rd prize: Ellen Abbott & Marc Leva for "Marriage Cups"
Non-Functional:
1st prize: Catharine Newell for "Man Caught with a Fish"
2nd prize: Todd Billmark for "Neolithic Diptych"
3rd prize: Lee Brady for "Pebble Dropped"
Jewelry:
1st prize: Sandra Leonard for "My Mann Fetish"
2nd prize: Annette Paskiewicz for "Flower Power Bracelet"
3rd prize: Geri Comstock for "Infinite Torque"
